GIFT SHOP
Our tax-free Gift Shop contains many unusual and interesting items that have an Island connection, including relief prints, wood carvings, photography, paintings, knit goods, whirly-gigs, painted rocks, wooden toys, puzzles and kitchen accessories, jewelry, decorative maps, and more. We have an outstanding assortment of postcards and notecards by local artists and photographers. There are many books and guides available, including children’s literature, poetry, novels, memoirs, history, gardening, cooking, geology and general interest. Books are written about the island and by islanders and summer residents, with something new each year. We also have a selection of free brochures from local environmental and heritage groups and local businesses.
Most items we sell have been made by artisans who visit or live on Grand Manan. Your purchase provides support for them as well as the Museum. There is no entrance fee for the Gift Shop, so stop by to look around anytime we’re open.
