ELMER WILCOX MEMORIAL LECTURE HALL

Our large lecture hall is named after a founding board member and early president of the board, Elmer Wilcox.  The Wilcox family is one of the island's oldest founding families.  They settled in Deep Cove where they had a shipbuilding business in the early 1800s.  This hall is where the Museum's Evening Programmes & many of its Special Events are held.  (insert hyperlink to the Schedule page)

Programming takes place throughout July & August on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, and on other evenings for special events such as book launches, art workshops, and music concerts (insert hyperlink to EVENTS).  The room also hosts a seasonal art exhibit and sometimes special Museum exhibits.  (insert hyperlink to the Art Exhibition page)
